Mary moved from Ireland to the UK at an early age and started working in a cotton mill while living with a family of Nuns.
She met and married Jerry O'callaghan and moved into the house in Victoria Promenade where she lived for the rest of her life.
Mary worked in many pubs throughout Northampton including The Angel Hotel.
